Three Days Inside Damon's Studio

This is not a conference. This is not a convention. This is something much more personal than that.

Three times a year, we open up The DecoExchange Studio, the actual craft room where everything you've watched, learned, and been inspired by was created, and we invite a small group of makers to come inside and create with us.

For three days in September, you'll be surrounded by Christmas designs, working alongside the TMU coaches in the same space where Damon builds his own wreaths. Every day includes a live demonstration, a hands-on make-and-take you'll bring home, and a focused business session designed to give you real clarity on growing your handmade business.

And in between sessions? You'll shop the DecoExchange studio inventory in person at up to 40% off, share meals with the people in the room, and spend real time with the coaches, not in a Q&A queue, but side by side.

We keep it to 50 people by design. The room is intentionally small because the experience is intentionally personal. If you've ever wanted to be in the room, this is the room.

What exactly happens each day? +

Each day includes three sessions: a live demonstration where you watch the coaches create a Christmas design in real time, a make-and-take where you create your own Christmas piece to bring home, and a business session with Damon designed to help you connect your creative work to real sales. Between sessions you'll have time to shop the studio inventory at up to 40% off, share lunch with the group, and spend unstructured time with the coaches and other attendees.

Do I need to bring anything? +

All materials for the make-and-take sessions are provided. Just bring yourself, a notebook if you like to take notes, and a bag for everything you'll be bringing home, including your finished designs and whatever you pick up during in-person shopping. We'll share a full packing and travel guide once your spot is confirmed.

Where exactly is the event? +

The event takes place at The DecoExchange Studio in Lacassine, Louisiana — Damon's actual craft room, where every tutorial, course, and piece of content you've watched has been created. Full address and travel details will be sent after registration. We recommend booking travel early as spots fill quickly.

Why only 50 people? +

This is intentional. The experience works because of its size, 50 people means real conversations, real time with the coaches, and a room where everyone actually knows each other by the end of day one. Larger events are great for inspiration. This one is designed for connection and transformation, and that requires keeping it small.

What is the payment plan exactly? +

The payment plan is 4 payments of $215, billed monthly, total of $860. The pay-in-full option is a single payment of $700, which saves you $160. Both options include everything listed on this page, no difference in access or experience. Payment plan billing details will be provided at checkout.

Is this included in my Design School membership? +

No, the in-person event is a separate ticket purchase and is not included in any TMU membership tier. Memberships cover online education, community access, and digital tools. The in-person experience is offered separately due to the physical nature of the event, venue costs, and materials provided.

What is the refund policy? +
